My inbox is too full of messages that are not relevant to my work.
There needs to be an option in iMail to delete old messages when new messages come in, that way we don't have to worry about new messages bouncing back because of a full inbox.
too many large attachments sent to "everyone on exchange" yet not enough space to receive large (>10mb) email attachments from students
Hello,
I am Steve Macias. I am a senator for the Associated Student Government and I am heading up the committee on Textbooks this semester. I would like to get faculty input on the subject in regard to opinion of E text and other online or electronic "Textbook Related" issues. Our Committee meets Friday October 3 in South Gym 226 @ 12pm.
All people at Sac City are welcome to contribute or just listen in.

One of the comments about Imail asked to be able to access Imail through POP so those messages could be read in any email client. According to the Frequently Asked questions page: https://imail.losrios.edu/faq.html
this is available.
Another person was concerned about the possibility of exceeding the limits of the imail mailbox. When setting up forwarding, a student has the choice to keep copies in the imail box (creating the possibility of filling it up) or not keeping a copy, just forwarding the mail.
It is amazingly difficult to communicate with the financial aid department. Their phone is always busy, and even if you do get through, they really won't answer many questions for "security reasons." I'm sure I'm not the only student that doesn't have time to stand in line for 30-40 minutes to talk to a live person. Why can't we have a secure section of the "my city aid" website that has a live support. If banks feel secure enough to do it why shouldn't the financial aid department.
There is a video game design course this semester. I would like to see a video game club that would include various classes consolidated to build a full game from the ground up.
There's no way to thread a conversation on here. You should be on forum software or have each person's post be a separate blog so that people can discuss topics. This is not the right interface.
I get spam from the same companies over and over. Two things: one, why are we using the worst software in the known universe instead of open source (read "FREE") software, or at very least, software that will allow you to say, "Please don't let email from this address through." This is not rocket science, yet Outlook Web Access is living in the dark ages. I have much better spam filters on the least useful free email address I have than my work email. It's ridiculous.
And two, what is the point of forwarding email to "spam" if nothing is ever done about it?
